Pink Noise Generator Model 2780/8280

This new design of pink noise generator meets the requirements from the latest standard requirements for pink noise in IEC 60 065/2001. It has also other options included in the standard version se below.

Especially developed for “cinema amplifiers” - also used in homes are a new range of applications when you need 2 channels/phase 90 deg.

Specifications

1. Pink Noise according to IEC 60 065/2001 + sine wave 1000 Hz.

2. Two output channels when testing “cinema amplifiers” for noise. The

channels can be phase shifted to 0 deg. or 90 deg. between them.

3. Amplitudes of sine wave and pink noise follow this table.

Output levels          Sine wave 1 kHz         Filtered pink noise

Low:               0-100 mV/1 kohm        0-35 mV rms/1 kohm

Medium:               0-1 V/1 kohm         0-350 mV rms/1khom

   High:                 0-5 V/1 kohm          0-1,7 V rms/1kohm

4. The generator can be used for noise or sine wave (not two types at

the same time)

5. Fine: Fine adjustments of output voltage

6. Output connects: RCA or Banana type.
