Abrasion Test for Plugs Model: 59884
 
The Abrasion Test for Plugs is an endurance test of plug pins sleeves according to IEC standard 60884-1 Clause 24.7 figure 28.The Abrasion Tester is a small box with a motor holding sharp edge
probe with weight scratching the surface
 
Technical Specification
1.  The drive is electrical motor (DC) operating
2.  The equipment is table standing, built on aluminium profiles
3.  A steel wire diameter 1 mm has a U-shape and executes the movements over the sleeve with an angle over the pins of 10 degree
4.  Weight generates a force of 4 N
5.  Number of movements are 20 000 (10 000 in each direction)
